About Me
I was born in Toronto, Ontario, Canada and currently in the Washington, DC area. I am also a CPA with a desire for designing classic mens wear. I’m the founder and head designer of Mi Chiamo Eka.
Mi Chiamo is Italian for “My Name is” and is used as to introduce yourself to people you meet. I started Mi Chiamo Eka after being name by Washingtonian Magazine as one of Washington, DC’s Best Dressed for 2007. I constantly receive compliments on my designs which eventually led to the Best Dressed accolade.
Most men have the same problem about purchasing clothes off the rack: “The shirt fits my body but the sleeves are too short”.
Mi Chiamo Eka offers customizable ready to wear. Simply put, you’re no longer restricted to buying off the rack because our high quality garments are customizable. This leads to better quality and longer garment life. I realized that an opportunity existed to provide high quality and fashionable garments.
In essence the clothing line is a way of not only introducing my name, but my style to others at a price that is affordable.
